Strawberry Season is estimated to start mid-June and runs for about 3 weeks.

Join us at Basse’s Farms for U-Pick strawberries!

Our strawberry season kicks off in mid-June and typically runs through the 4th of July. Nothing says summer like picking big, sweet, juicy strawberries fresh from the field! Hop on a wagon ride with your family and enjoy the fun of U-pick.

With over 155,000 plants producing each year – and 40,000 more planted for 2026 – we have many acres of pick your own strawberries! Prefer pre-picked? Stop by our country store for ready-to-go strawberries and fresh peas. Don’t forget to treat yourself to our famous strawberry donuts, pies, breads, and ice cream creations (available while supplies last)!

  • 8am – 5pm (weather permitting) daily until season ends

  • Special extended picking hours: Wednesdays ONLY 8am – 7pm!

  • 4:30pm last wagon ride out to strawberry fields (Wednesdays last wagon ride out to fields at 6:30pm)

Strawberry Fest

Treats and Sweets:

  • Fresh Lemonade in Lemonade Wagon (Open Wed – Sun Daily. Hours are 10am – 3pm)
  • Soft serve ice cream and slushies (available in main store daily 9am-5pm)

Peas

Our pea season also begins mid-June and usually starts about a week or two after the strawberries are ripened. Peas are usually only available during strawberry season. We offer pre-picked sugar, garden, and snow peas while supplies last in our Main Store.

Sweet Corn

*Available after Strawberry Season
Our summer season is filled with Basse’s signature super sweet bi-color sweet corn. A Basse attendee will be selling corn daily, and our main store is closed until Fall season.
Our sweet corn stand in front of our main store is cashless.
