Can I buy tickets online for the Apple & Sunflower Fest?2024-03-28T10:43:42-05:00

No, at this time we are not offering online tickets. Tickets can only be purchased at the Apple & Sunflower entrance.

Will any of your Pumpkin Fest activities be open during the Apple & Sunflower event?2024-03-28T10:42:44-05:00

No activities in our Pumpkin Fest grounds will be open during the Apple & Sunflower event. You will have to visit us during our Pumpkin Fest for those exciting activities!

Do you close down during rain?2024-03-28T12:28:24-05:00

We will stay open if it is a light rain. We will close down if there is lightening, or if the rain is heavy and excessive. Please call our hotline (262) 628-3866 to make sure we are open before coming.

Can I cut my own sunflowers once in the sunflower maze?2024-03-28T10:49:02-05:00

The paid experience to our Apple orchard does NOT include picking your own sunflowers to take home.
The only way you can pick sunflowers to take home is by purchasing our sunflower bucket. We will then provide you with shears to cut your own sunflowers. The bucket can hold 20-40 sunflowers and or zinnias, which makes for a breathtaking bouquet!!

If I see apples up high, can I climb the tree to reach?2024-03-28T10:48:30-05:00

No that is dangerous! Please ask one of our apple attendees, and they will provide you with a special apple picking tool (not a ladder) to help reach those high up ones!

What will the conditions of the trail be like in the sunflower maze?2024-03-28T10:47:17-05:00

The sunflower maze trail is essentially a farm field, so proceed at your own risk, as their will be uneven surfaces. With changing weather conditions, the trail can become muddy. The apple orchard on the other hand is all grassed. We recommend checking the weather before coming, and please wear the appropriate footwear!

Do you have private photography sessions available?2024-03-28T10:46:41-05:00

At this time we do not have any private photography sessions. Photographers are welcome to come during our public hours of operations. Everyone attending would just have to pay for the Apple Experience.

Can I smoke on the farm?2024-03-28T12:14:32-05:00

No smoking or e-cigs are allowed. There is a lot of straw, cornstalks, and other very flammable decorations all over the farm. Again, we want to keep an enjoyable and safe experience for all our guests!

Are pets allowed?2024-03-28T12:35:02-05:00

Though we are big animal lovers, pets are not allowed inside our event, with the exception of service dogs.

We only allow service dogs to assist guests with disabilities. The dog must be a “service” dog trained to perform a specific function as defined by the ADA.  Only service dogs trained to assist people with disabilities. No other animals shall be allowed to enter.

Service dogs that are growling, barking, clawing, biting, exhibiting aggressive behavior, or clearly not under the control of their handlers may not be allowed on the premises.

Can I sample the apples while in the orchard?2024-03-28T10:49:40-05:00

No more than one sample apple per person during your Apple experience visit.

If I come to the farm with cash can I still make purchases?2024-03-28T12:37:17-05:00

Yes. However, for reasons listed on our cashless page, we recommend against it.
If you come with cash and not with credit, debit, or mobile, there is one option available.
1. A cash-to-gift card option is available at any of our registers. Guests will be able to transfer that cash onto a Basse gift card. The gift card can then be used throughout the farm for purchases (excluding certain third-party food vendors. No refunds or cashback on giftcards).

Why did you decide to go cashless?2024-03-28T12:36:15-05:00

There were several factors that went into the decision to transition to card and mobile payment only transactions.

  • Faster.
Eliminating the need to make change allows for quicker transaction times and lower wait times, making the guest experience even better!
  • Efficiency.
The cashless model allows us to operate more efficiently and effectively, giving our team members the opportunity to focus more on you, our guest.
  • Safer.
Keeping guests and team members safe is number one priority for us on the farm. Cashless models have proven to be a safer model to implement across the retail and hospitality industries.
